Environmental Engineer – Water/Wastewater

Stantec’s Environmental Infrastructure Group is focused on delivering and managing sustainable water and wastewater solutions critical to public health and the long term health of the environment. We are passionate about resource renewal and sustainability and are recognized in developing innovative solutions for complex projects in advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, pumping and storage.

Responsibilities:

As the successful candidate, you will use your technical abilities to plan and design all aspects of water and wastewater systems in a dynamic design team setting. Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams and provide direction in the preparation of design drawings
• Prepare economic analysis for water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects
• Liaise with clients and other consultants
• Prepare construction specifications, tender documents and applications for approval

Interested candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a focus in water and/or wastewater systems
• Minimum of 10-15 years experience in the design and construction of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; solid writing skills are also essential
• P.Eng. designation preferred but may consider candidates eligible for registration with APEGBC
