Sr. Electrical Engineer – Health Care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in projects for a variety of institutional, civic, commercial, and specialty building and electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Review and direct the work of other engineers and designers in addition to performing project design duties.
  • Assist with contract document preparation.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' experience designing building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, life safety and communications.
  • Demonstration of experience in Health Care is essential.
  • Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in B.C.
  • Ability to work independently to deliver comprehensive designs and contracts, often on demanding time lines.
  • Experience creating tender document packages including drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with utility companies along with CSA and Building Code knowledge.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with team members and clients.
  • Reputation for meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.

Experience which would be an asset:

  • Power System design.
  • LEED® Accreditation.
  • Experience with business development.
  • RCDD Certification.
  • AutoCAD and Revit MEP knowledge.
