To continue planned growth and to meet an extremely busy workload, there is an immediate need for an energetic and business-minded individual in the following positions in our Construction Materials Division located in our Richmond Office:

AGGREGATE GEOLOGIST

Levelton Consultants seeks a qualified aggregate geologist to lead its practice in the field of aggregate resource assessment and development. The work will encompass assessment of quality and quantity of new and existing deposits of natural aggregate and quarries; exploration and drilling programs; design and management of laboratory assessment programs; analysis of aggregates and rock products; assisting clients with environmental and mining approval processes, development and reclamation plans, and economic viability studies. This position reports directly to the Divisional Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a professional geologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in evaluation, assessment, testing and development of construction aggregate sources, with demonstrated experience in aggregate assessment, management of field and laboratory programs, aggregate production, and report preparation. Eligibility for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC is a requirement.

PAVEMENT DESIGN/ASPHALT SPECIALIST

Levelton Consultants seeks a qualified engineer or senior technologist to lead its practice in the field of pavement design and asphalt technology. The work will encompass design of industrial, municipal and highway pavements, preparation of technical specifications, pavement management programs, mix design for bituminous pavements and management of related QC/QA programs. This position reports directly to the Divisional Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a professional engineer or technologist with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Eligibility for registration with APEGBC or ASTTBC is a requirement.
