Events
As one
of its member services, the CEBC Secretariat organizes numerous events
to raise the profile of the member firms and the association, as the
industry voice for those firms. By participating in these events members
have opportunities to learn about relevant business issues or about
the capital expenditure plans of their key client groups. These events
are also excellent venues for building strong relations with clients
and colleagues in industry.

Golf Tournament
Launched in 2000, the CEBC Annual Golf Tournament is a favourite
with members and clients alike. Members, their many clients and
colleagues of the industry are able to get together, compete on
the green and network in a fun and relaxed environment. Held at
the spectacular setting of the University Golf Club, the 2007 tournament
welcomed 144 players. The CEBC teamed
up with Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Lower Mainland, who benefited from
the generosity of CEBC members.

Awards for Engineering Excellence
For the past 19 years, the CEBC has hosted the Annual Awards program
that recognizes and celebrates excellence and innovation in the
consulting engineering industry. By far, the most talked about event
on the CEBC calendar, the Gala has become a “must attend”
event for all involved.
These Awards provide CEBC member firms the opportunity to showcase
their projects and their company to colleagues, peers and competitors.
The Awards also provide firms the chance to make their own staff
aware of their achievements and add to the prestige of the firm’s
future marketing materials.
