Introduction
The Awards for Engineering Excellence demonstrate the value of member
firms to clients as they celebrate technical excellence and recognize
innovation in engineering that is simply a cut above the rest. The
Awards have grown more prestigious since the inception of the program
22 years ago, raising the profile of the recipients to new heights.
They provide CEBC member firms the opportunity to showcase their
projects and their firm to the consulting engineering industry.
Awards are granted in the following categories:
• Buildings
• Municipal
• Transportation
• Natural Resource, Energy and Industry
• Soft Engineering
For each of these categories one Award of Excellence and
at least one Award of Merit is presented every year.
These
extraordinary accomplishments are acknowledged by peers, colleagues
and competitors at the Awards for Engineering Excellence Gala which
is our premiere professional and social event of the year.
The 2012
Gala will be held at the Westin Bayshore, Vancouver on Saturday, March 31st 2012. Registration for the gala dinner is now open.
At the gala, CEBC will also recognize the accomplishments of two individual consulting engineers with
Call for nominations for the Meritorious Achievement Award has been issued, and nominations are now being accepted. The deadline for nominations is January 16, 2012.
A call for nominations for the Young Professional Award will be issued the week of December 12.
Gala
sponsors have a unique opportunity to demonstrate their business’
involvement with the consulting engineering industry and their recognition
of the achievements of the award winning firms. Through sponsorship
CEBC offers a variety of options to showcase companies to the more
than 450 industry leaders, professional engineers and government
officials attending the Gala, and to a broader audience
